Sõõriksoo hiking trail

The Sõõriksoo hiking trail is located in Aegviidu and starts from the local visitor center. The trail introduces both the bog forest and the landscape. The route is circular and its length is 1.5 kilometers. There is also a rest place on the trail.

Description of the Sõõriksoo hiking trail

During the hike on the Sõõriksoo hiking trail, you will see a peat bog with old peat pits, traces of forest animals and birds, and also enjoy the forest. The route can only be covered on foot. Cycling here is prohibited.

The forested part of the trail runs along a boardwalk. Its length is about 700 meters. This section is suitable for wheelchair users. Exploring the bog landscape takes place along ordinary paths.

You can go on a hike on the Sõõriksoo trail at any time of the year. There are 13 information boards along the route. The map is located at the beginning of the trail.

Parking

The car park is located near the Aegviidu visitor center. It is designed for 15 cars and 3 large buses. You can get to the Sõõriksoo hiking trail from Tallinn by train. Its beginning is a hundred meters away from the railway station.
