Haven Kakumäe Marina

Haven Kakumäe Marina is located in Tallinn in the Haabersti district. It is a modern recreation center where you can spend time with your whole family. It is also one of the most popular places in the Estonian capital by the sea.

History and description of the Haven Kakumäe

Haven Kakumäe Harbor was opened in 2018. Before that, there was an old wharf with a wild beach nearby. The pier was used by local fishermen who set their nets a few hundred meters from the shore.

Today the port of Kakumäe is considered to be one of the best in the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea. Haven Kakumäe Marina is considered a five-star service. The area also has a restaurant Puri and premium apartments Residence Lesta 10.

The port area is open to all. Here you can come as a family for a walk in the fresh air along the seashore. Not far from the port is the Rocca-al-Mare bluff, which you can also walk along.

Parking

There is a parking lot next to the port of Haven Kakumäe. It is paid. The exact cost and conditions are stated on the information signs in front of the entrance. You can park for free at the parking lot of the Õismäe bog health trail, from where it takes about 20 minutes to reach your destination on foot.

  • Less than a kilometer from the Haven Kakumäe Marina is the Õismäe Bog Health Trail. Here you can both take a walk and do some outdoor sports.
  • There is also an Open-air museum in the Haabersti area. Here you can study the peculiarities of Estonian life.
  • You can continue your walk along the promenade Rocca-al-Mare. It stretches to Stroomi beach, next to which there is a park with children’s playgrounds.
